Good artists borrow, great artists steal.
Most paint companies offer 4,000 colour choices. Not Colour Spark: It’s a line of 11 expertly curated colours. So how could we convince Canadians that having LESS choice is actually better?
By showing them that these colours aren’t just the best, but the greatest of all time. To prove it, we zoomed into the world’s most famous art works, pinpointed an exact match for all 11 Colour Spark paint colours, and dropped our swatch. Suddenly, staring at the beautiful work of Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Picasso, and Vermeer meant staring at Colour Spark.
Unfortunately, we had a small budget. To make this idea work, we needed access to the most famous museums (nope), travel to four countries (hahahaha), and enough extras for two crowds (good one). So, with a pioneering method, we blended live action, green screen, and AI generated environments. And our TV budget of under $100k did the work of millions.
